My employer sponsored me to undertake one to one tuition with primary aim to improve my communication skills, so that I can be more vocal and be heard better in the meeting. This forms an important part of further career development; including vocal clarity and delivery style.
Anne designed a training program that fitted well around my working schedule. We started with vocal techniques including pronunciation and voice control, followed by content delivery combined with case studies. During my training with Anne, she was always able to design bespoke materials that addressed particular issues observed in previous lessons. By doing so, we were able to channel effort and energy more effectively to make better progress.
The training has provided me with vocal techniques and speech delivery tools that are useful in both small and large meeting and conference setting. More importantly, the training gives me opportunity to practice different delivery styles that allows me to explore and to develop my own styles over time.
It has always been enjoyable and pleasant working with Anne. Anne was able to tailor her teaching material to include a good mix of fundamental vocal practice and content delivery techniques that is constantly evolving based on ongoing feedback. Throughout my training, Anne showed a genuine interest in improving my confidence and ability to communicate more effectively.
The other valuable quality Anne has, is her experience dealing with students from international and diverse backgrounds. She embraces cultural difference and is able to design her materials to address particular speech / pronouncement issues but at the same time encourage the student to develop their own communication style.
