Going Live as a work in progress…

Some creative processes take longer than others. Look at me. I’m still a work in progress, with no given completion date.

And now, with the talent and skill of a variety of collaborators some new, and some who’ve guided my steps for a while. I’m going live…

I am a work in progress, so is my website and so is the work it speaks to.

Why a work in progress?

Because it says…

I still have learning to do.

I still have challenges to face.

I will make mistakes, sometimes messy, sometimes embarrassing.

I have contributions to make, and knowledge to share.

I have letting go to do, and taking up to acknowledge.

And finally I have to look into those dusty corners, and under the bed to find the ghosts and monsters of my childhood. Ghosts and monsters – my thoughts and opinions, my feelings and judgements – I’ve never spoken of them before, but they seep into my life, into my work.

They need the light of examination.

It won’t be easy.

But then I’m a work in progress.

So, I’m going to cut myself some slack.
